Empowering the Community
Established in 1970, the Myanmar Association of Hawaii is dedicated to supporting economically disadvantaged Hawaii Burmese residents. Our focus lies in fostering assimilation and acculturation of Burmese immigrants and refugees while preserving our rich cultural heritage. Through humanitarian, charitable, educational, and cultural initiatives, we strive to create a positive impact on the lives of those in need.
Vision
Aligned with the strong Burmese values of family and community welfare, we believe in the universal right of all human beings to safety, well-being and happiness.
